Junction Road - neighbours working together

When these two neighbours decided that they both wanted a rear extension and garden studio, commissioning and designing them as a single project made a lot of sense. The joint extensions are set between the rear part of the two mirrored terrace houses, and work harmoniously, while retaining a distinctive individuality.

Each house now has a generous, modern kitchen-dining area, with plenty of natural light. The garden rooms at the bottom of the narrow gardens provide a pottery and art studio for one client and, in future (not yet built) a home office for the other.

The carefully thought out detailing and complex structural works were expertly executed by Blok Building.
